This books’ characters are based on old folklore stories’ characters; such as Narenj-o-Toranj, Maah-Pishouni, etc. The stories of this book is about the concerns we should have about the green life and the environment. Imagine all the demons and fairies of the tales decide to destroy every garden and build big malls and shopping centers instead of the trees! How would all those nice and lovely tales be told afterward? Where would the characters live, when there is no trees and gardens?

Fatemeh Sarmashqi was born in 1979, Bijar. But her family soon moved to Karaj city. She didn’t begin writing before college years. Her first stories got published in her college’s press. Her books have been nominated in some national books’ festivals.
