The characters of the series are based on old folklore stories such as Narenj-o-Toranj, Maah-Pishouni, etc. The stories of these books are about the concerns we should have about the green life and the environment. This story is based on an old story of a lady who hides in a pumpkin to goes through the forest, without being caught by the wild animals. This book retells a new version of the story and introduces the children to some of wild-life and environmental issues.

Fatemeh Sarmashqi was born in 1979, Bijar. But her family soon moved to Karaj city. She didn’t begin writing before college years. Her first stories got published in her college’s press. Her books have been nominated in some national books’ festivals.
