Meeting Plato... is a labyrinth of modern narration to a woman's different stages of life. A collection of 18 short stories, each a snippet of the writers’ thoughts and opinions on life, human spirit, human condition, and being a woman in Iran. There is rarely a "plot" in the classic sense. Rather each story begins with a passing thought that develops into a surprisingly lively narration and explores the short story format to new and untraveled frontiers. In Meeting Plato, women are the protagonist. They tell stories of "pain" and patiently try to solve their problems in the least painful way. In an environment that is in core "against being a woman", the heroines brave on.
