All societies of the world enjoy proverbs that are of beauty and deep meaning for their own culture. It can be claimed that the common proverbs in all societies are indicative of some customs and traditions of that societies. By passing the years of each society great people’s lives and businesses, some incidents occurred in their lives. Those incidents changed to a proverb at last so each of these proverbs is indicating incidents happening for human kind. By knowing the type of proverbs we can find out and familiarize with societies’ cultures and customs. The study of all nations’ proverbs can reveal their moralities, bad and good mores, thoughts and ideas and that society people’s sensitivities and interests. In this book, the illustrator attempted to choose the best famous Persian proverbs and to illustrate them (with a combination of phrases and caricatures) to encourage the readers to look for the roots and attractiveness of each proverb and to use its meaning in their lives in the best form.

Hamed Khodadadi, the author, is graduated in painting that due to his innovation, enthusiasm and great interest in the art of painting and innovation of a beautiful style in watercolor technique has been accepted as a member of “Iran’s Association of Innovators and Inventors” and succeeded in getting an Honorary Certificate
