The pictures of this book as it has already mentioned in its introduction depicts the city of Marvast and its subsidiary villages which are a part of Iran’s desert region and Yazd province with a more realistic perspective and in a form of a collection and book for the first time. The variety of subjects including architecture, nature and people of this region provides a narration and story in each picture and the whole collection in the language of art and photography that is the result of the photographer’s several trips to those mentioned regions and recording of those moments from his viewpoint, recordings of castles, mansions and streets of sun-dried bricks left from centuries ago. Some pictures of the book on the subject of nature and landscapes are indicating the ecological variety of this not-so-large area of Iran’s land. Considering all of these, this book goes beyond of just a picture narration of a geographical region, and regardless of the general subjects of the pictures, its pictures can be looked through a window opened specifically to each individual picture and through the very sense each picture conveys and communicates with the book different subjects in this manner.
