This encyclopedia deals with the most important events in Islam's history from the begin-ning, illuminating its background in Arabia, its development as a worldwide religion, its scientific and cultural achievements, etc. Encyclopedia of Islam has sold around 50,000 copies and is in its 4th edition. The simple lan-guage and lively illustrations of this encyclopedia make it more interesting for primary students. It has recently been translated into Spanish.
