Noushin Shabani was born in Iran in 1964. As an educational psychology graduate she teaches in Payam-e Nour University. A writer of children's literature for more than two decades, Shabani has written over 20 books including a series intended to teach social skills to children. She has recently started writing satire and ecologically oriented tales. She awareded First and second medal of Press Festival conducted by Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance and First medal of Religious Tales Contest.
