Ribo felt affection for his uncle so much. But one day
something bad came about and his uncle died. It left a
very bad impression on Ribo’s spirit and he hated
death since then. He was forever and a day worried
about what would happen if his parents and family
members died. He even feared his snake friend, Fisso,
who might in all probability eat him someday. Fisso
had said that although they were friends, they might
eat each other one day to survive. The two friends
went to the wise rat to find a way to avoid such an
event. The wise rat said it was the life cycle’s fault. The two decided to hit upon the life cycle and devastate it.
They went and went and found the home of the life cycle and destroyed it and eliminated death. After that, everything
was going on happily and joyfully. But it did not take long for them and others to find out their life were
getting harder and harder. Because of the growing population, there was nothing to eat and no place to sleep.
Eventually, they had to go for the cycle again to fix it so life would go back to normal.
This book contains a decipherable and revealing story for children that put in plain words to them the logic of
creation in an easy language. The fascinating illustrations of the book help children to understand the story and
its message.

Masoud Malekyari (1980- Tehran) is the writer, research and translator of children books. He is a very strenuous writer in this field. Ironic language and novel atmospheres of his stories are the strengths of his works. Malekyari has been teaching creative writing and storytelling at think tanks, cultural centers, universities, and workshops for children and teenagers for years. He was elected to the Erik Book award in 2015 and was also nominated for the Iranian Book of the year Award.
