Joghato Bridge
Joghato Bridge is an interesting teenage novel about a family during the Iran-Iraq war. The narrator who lives with his family in the village is concerned about Sara -his cousin- and her mother because of the enemy attack on Miandoab, the city on the other side of the Joghato Bridge. One day when the city is under heavy bombardment, crowds of people flee to the village and the narrator who is working in a grapes garden decides to goes to the city with his friends, Sardar and Firooz, and save Sara and her mother. But after crossing the Bridge they face complex difficulties that make their goal difficult to gain and so on. Joghato Bridge is a well-formed story with pleasant suspense and interesting events in which the reader can sense the national resistance against enemies.

Majid Mahboubi, 1973-
Majid Mahboubi, an Iranian writer, journalist and literary critic has written more than 20 children books and won many literary awards like nominee for Islamic Republic of Iran Year Book in 2007 for the novel “That day, that party”, the selected writer of 11th Year Book of Qom scientific Houzeh for the book “Meeting under moonlight” in 2009, and other important national awards.
