If I had not climbed up the ladder; perhaps if the ladder was not loose, if my sister, Sho’eleh had cleaned the chandelier in my stead, if my mother was more concerned for her one and only son, if that was not the eve of new Iranian year, I would not have to suffer that much, submit to hardship and struggle over not marrying Queen Sansana. Siavash is electrocuted and his spirit travels to the land of electricity. Whoever enters that land must serve the queen forever, but Siavash is still so young and wants to live with his parents and his sister Sho’eleh, even though he is not in friendly terms with the latter. However, return to the world and ordinary life requires him to pass tricky stages which at times seem to be almost impossible to pass…
