On one side of a town there was a pair of scissors called Cut-it. He liked to cut everything he ran into to make various things. On the other side of the town there was a needle called Sew-it. She liked to sew everything she saw. The book is the story of how Cut-it and Sew-it got to know each other.

Afsaneh Shaban-nejad, poet and writer, was born in Kerman in May 1963. She has a bachelor’s degree in Persian language and literature and a master’s degree in dramatic literature. She began her career in children’s and young adult literature by writing for the press and she was also the editor-in-chief of the radio program for preschoolers and school-age children. At one point, she was also in charge of the poetry council at the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults (Kanoon).
