This book contains a collection of common mental disorders in children and adolescents based on the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5). To better understand the clinical signs of these disorders in children and adolescents, clinical examples are nicknamed. Clinical interview, objective tests, and imaging have also been used to diagnose these disorders. In addition, therapeutic interventions are briefly illustrated. This book is unique in terms of examining the psychiatric disorders of children and adolescents and using clinical examples to understand the symptoms and the treatments needed. In addition, the innovation of this book is to familiarize students with the way the contributing factors influence the disorders in children and adolescents. More importantly, the role of the family in the psychopathology of children and adolescents is investigated, and family-based therapeutic interventions, and modification of parenting practices have also been thoroughly addressed.
