The Shi’ite Jurisprudence Collection is a complete set of Shi’ite demonstrative jurisprudence that covers all jurisprudence from purity to atonement. The main feature of this set of books is the comparative study of the views of Sunni and Shi’ite jurisprudents as well as the views of earlier jurisprudents which has great historical and jurisprudential value. In this set of books, at first each jurisprudential verdict is expressed in the traditional order, then the views of the Shi'ite and Sunni ancients and recent thinkers, as well as the reasons for these views from the book and tradition and other jurisprudential sources are expressed, and finally the author preferred theory is examined along with its jurisprudential reasons. The author's theology views have already been outlined in the book “Theology of Twelver Shias Review”, and the same principles are used in presenting the author's jurisprudential views in this book. The invalidity of the principles of rhetoric and eloquence in the author's view and his innovative theory entitled “Frame and Balance Theory” in tradition and many other speculative ideas has made the author's jurisprudential theories superior to other recent jurisprudential writings. In this book, he departs from popular theories on various occasions. Academic style in discussion, presenting and paying special attention to ancestors, accurate references, translating traditions to Persian and presenting arguments in Persian and paying attention to time and place requirements and relying on presumption of innocence and reducing the volume of requirements in jurisprudence and the principle of facilitation in the religious law are among the features of this book. Born in 1972 in Mashhad, Iran, Mohsen Abbasnejad was took his BS in Mechanical Engineering but continued his studies in Philosophy. Having studied Islamic Jurisprudence and Usool in seminary under the late Ayatollah Mirza Ali Falsafi, a great contemporary jurist, and Philosophy under the late Sayyed Jalal Ashtiani, a distinguished philosopher of the Eastern World, he passed the higest levels of the seminary with flying colors. Having authored number of works in such fields as philosophy, philosophy of science, Modern kalam (literally known as Science of discourse), Quranic sciences and Hadith, and Jurisprudence, Mr. Abbasnejad is now serving as the head of the Department for researching on Quran and Epistemology, and the Director of the Quranic Research Foundation.
