One of the major problems in Iran's rangelands is the lack of proper management of grazing system which ultimately leads to untimely exploitation of rangelands and grazing natural forage over stocking rate or pasture capacity. Proper timing of livestock entry and exit from rangelands will promote vegetation cover, soil moisture storage, permeability and soil moisture storage capacity. This book is dedicated to the use and application of livestock grazing management in the highlands.
