This book seeks to study universal literature in a specific and qualitative sense as an idea against national literature and in line with comparative literature and to shape the ideas of Goethe and Ruckert, along with other German-language thinkers on existing literature in the world. And explain its development in relation to Iranian culture and literature. This book reflects Eastern culture and literature in Germany. There has also been a Explanation about the concept of the global idea. The third chapter examines Goethe's artistic and literary identity and examines the position of the East, Iran and Hafiz in the concept of Goethe's World Literature. In the last chapters, the concept of universal literature has been discussed in terms of Ruckret, and the influence of the East and Iran on the idea of universal literature on Ruckret has been examined.

Author About:

Dr. Haddadi is a professor at the University of Tehran who received his PhD in German Language and Literature from Heidelberg University in 2002. He has done a great deal of research in German and comparative literature on German and German.
