The Qashqai are nomadic tribespeople in iran who move around with their sheep , and live in tent homes . The wool they produce is particularly fine and strong , and brightly coloured after it has been dued with flowers and herbs. Qashqai girls weave decorative artefacts from the wool , including chantehs, which are woven carpet - like shoulder bags.
