A little girl does not like spaghetti. When she sees that mother has made spaghetti for dinner, she sulks and leaves the table. Doesn’t mother know that she doesn’t like spaghetti and salad? But mother says, “These dishes are not really spaghetti and salad!” In this story, mother uses her creativity and imagination in the art of decorating and presenting food in appetizing animal shapes to delight her child. Simple illustrations capture the wonder of childhood in bringing this story to life and making it coherent, meaningful and fun even for toddlers. Young, talented illustrator, Reza Dalvand has won numerous international awards. He writes the stories for his illustrations.

Reza Dalvand was born in the 1989. As a childhe had but one idea in his head – to draw. Afterstudying graphic design at Isfahan Universityof Art he is now completing a master›s degreein illustration at the University of Tehran. Hehas published already fifteen children’s books in Persian and other languages. His works have been recognized at international exhibitions and competitions.
