The Red Wave The book is a documentary report and analysis of Iran’s marine defense during the 8 years of Iran-Iraq war. The Red Wave consists of 4 chapters; in the first chapter, the writer presents a descriptive understanding about the historical and geographical backgrounds of Persian Gulf region. The second chapter, discusses the whole period of Iran-Iraq war as it is related to Persian Gulf and battleships. The Land without Sunset is the title of the third chapter in which the writer focuses on the important places and strategic points of the region. The last part of the book, examine the most important battles in Persian Gulf during the war and discusses U.S. interferences and direct challenges with Iranian navy.
