About the book Nationalism means the sense of belonging to a society in which the identity of its members is defined by the symbols, beliefs, and lifestyles and they are determined to decide about their common political destiny. Due to the importance of the oil in today's world and its consequences in developing oil-rich countries, this book focuses on the evolution of oil nationalism in oil-rich countries while being centralized on the subject of Iran. In order to study independent movements, the colonial conditions of oil privileges, the historical developments associated with the oil campaigns in oil-rich countries, the historical method are used, and for studying of the functional characteristics of oil companies and the characteristics of anti-colonial movements, the descriptive method has been applied. The book includes three chapters: a. "the role of colonialism and imperialism in the world's oil" b. “the history of the oil interventions” c. “the causes and effects of oil nationalism in oil-rich countries”

Author About:

About the Author Reza Khedri born in Abadan graduated from the Social Communication Sciences College. He was educated by professors such as Professor Kazem Mo’tamedinejad, the father of Iranian Communication Sciences, and Abdul Rahman Faramarzi, the father of Iranian journalism. He began his work experiences as a journalist. He is currently a graduate student working for his the Ph.D. in geography and urban planning field. He is also is teaching in a university. He has published 16 works and his book entitled "Khorramshahr does not die" was awarded the first prize from the Holy Defense Staff.
