While reading this book, the reader will be acquainted with the achievements of 100 Muslim scientists who were all Iranian or influenced by Iranian culture. Each section, in one to three pages, introduces one scientist and deals mainly with his achievements leaving out unnecessary biographical information. There are also numerous illustrations, enlightening diagrams and amusing portraits related to each section. The book starts introducing these scientists with Maserjouyeh (a physician of the 7th century) and ends with a mathematician named Mohammad Baqer Yazdi who lived around a thousand years later.
