This story is based on an old Iranian patriotic myth. According to the myth, enemies try to humiliate Iranian people and suggest they define the borderline between Iran and Touran by the distance an arrow could go. Arash is a young farmer who likes to tell stories. He volunteers to throw the arrow. He climbes the highest mountain and put all his life power to throw the arrow. The arrow reaches a very far place and Iran remains a vast country.
