Mehdi Fallah was born in Babylon in 1335 (1956). He is an artist working in both calligraphy and Iranian music. Among his professors in music, singing and poetry are Mohammad Reza Shajarian, Hossein Public and Fereidoun Moshiri. In the field of calligraphy, he has been serving with Sayed Hasan Mirkhani and Gholam Hossein Amirkhani. The works of Mahdi Fallah's calligraphy have been featured at numerous individual and group exhibitions inside and outside Iran. He has trained many readers in Iranian music, including Alireza Ghorbani, Huroush Khalili, Mahsa Vahdat, Sepideh Sadat and Pedram Bolurchi.
