Book About:

Two Vey Exhausted Men’s Complaint! After 90 years, our old clock stopped. It has been handed down to me from my father. I have nailed its board frame to my courtyard’s wall to let the birds nest there and I put away its metal parts. I hadn’t any clock for several days until someday my doorbell rang, I found a police officer and two small and large clock hands standing in my doorway, when I opened the door. I was shocked. “These men, one hour hand and another minute hand, have claimed that you had put them away from your house is that true?” The police officer asked. “But the clock has been stopped and not working anymore,” I answered. “Well, we have been exhausted; we have worked more than 90 years for your family, so we decided to sleep for a while, how much more we could work for you, huh?” Both hands said at the same time. Pointing to the nest in the courtyard, I said, “the clock frame is a nest for birds, now.” “There must be a little place for us to rest there conveniently and to give up our claim.” I put the hands into the clock frame and they gave back their claim. “Finally, clock hands need to be retired, too,” I told the police officer. Now, your clock stopped, actually,” he smiled.
