The book recounts the life of Ali (PBUH) thirty years before his birth, when the Prophet was born. There is a connection between the two births; a connection formed in heavens. One comes after another. One is the Sun while the other is the Moon. The narrator of this story is Ali’s mother. Thirty years before the birth of his son, she has loved him. She speaks of her waiting; of the passion she has for his own son on one hand and for son of Aminah bint Wahb on the other hand. She seems to be the mother of the Sun and Moon.
