The book written by Ayatollah Mohammad Taghi Mesbah Yazdi, is the most novel written work that deals with the basic topics about theory of Velayat-e Faqih. However, because it has some specific features, it is different from the other works ever written about this topic. It addresses today doubts in this regardin addition to theoretical discussions and the proposed discussions are clearly and specifically arranged so that if anyone read it, most of doubts in the theoretical part of Velayat-e Faqih will be resolved. Most of compilations written about Velayat-e Faqih so far, are just theorizations, however, this book addresses today doubts in this regard in addition to theorization, i.e. by review of criticisms on this issue it indicated required reasons in this field. Introducing position of Velayat-e Faqih in the Islamic Republic, benefits of Velayat-e Faqih, regimes and governments, the influences of Velayat-e Faqih on them, and its advantages are included in this book.

Born in 1934 in the desert city of Yazd in southern Iran, Mohammad Taqi Mesbah Yazdi finished his preliminary religious studies in his hometown before leaving for the Iraqi holy city of Najaf for advanced studies. After one year in Najaf, he returned to Iran and settled in the holy city of Qom. He followed courses offered by Imam Khomeini and other qualified religious scholars in Qom from 1952 to 1960 until he became a scholar. In addition to teaching, Mesbah Yazdi has conducted research about the social aspects of Islam, including Jihad, judgment and Islamic government. Before and after the Islamic Revolution, he has established severa universities, schools and institutes as Imam Khomeini supported and persuaded him. Mesbah Yazdi is currently among the prominent Shia scholars at Qom Seminary. He has authored numerous books on Islamic philosophy, theology, ethics and Islamic beliefs. He is currently heading Imam Khomeini Education and Research Institute in Qom. So far he has authored more than 50 books on basic subjects in Islam most of which have become textbooks or references
