“Al-Rashid Prison” by Mohammad Mahdi Behdarvand cites the memories of the Commander of sixth part of Corps Land Forces, Gen. Ali Asghar Georgi Zadeh in captivity at year 1988 in Iraq’s prison. The book starts with memory of tireless resistance of Iranian soldiers at Majnoon Islands on July, 4, 1988 – the date of Islands’ fall - and also the effective role of martyr commander Ali Hashemi, and continues citing the flee of commander Georgi Zadeh and martyr Hashemi to reeds of Majnoon Island. At the same time, a helicopter missile separated two commanders of the war and Georgi Zadeh was captured by the Iraqis after 30 hours of hiding. “Al-Rashid Prison” includes the memories of Commander Gorji Zadeh who was trying to hide his position at army, disclosing the issue would expose the worst torture of Iraqis. Finally, he was transferred to “Al Rashid Prison,” the most notorious Iraqi prison, where the commander spent eight years of his captivity.
