“Christ, In the Night of Qadr” deals with presence of Ayatollah Khamenei in the houses of Christian martyrs of the 8-year war between Iran and Iraq. Iranian Christians are mainly Armenians and Assyrians and they lived in Iran for hundreds of years. These honorable compatriots who regard themselves as Iranians and part of the Iranian nation dedicated totally more than one hundred martyrs to Islamic Republic of Iran. Since 1984, Ayatollah Khamenei has been guest of Christian martyrs’ families during New Year and Christmas. A distinguished Muslim clergyman, once president of Iran and then Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, sits near Christian family members in their homes and speaks about values of their martyrs and how the country is proud of them and their families. A unique feature of such meetings is that most of Christian families could not believe his presence in their homes and they get astonished and they usually feel the same to the end of the meeting. Such feelings make him to speak more, tell more memoirs, and make the meeting interesting.
