This book attempts to explain the definitions and the way in which the art of the illustration is presented, the differences between the illustration and other arts and the course of their evolution in the Safavid and Qajar era. Illustration is an art that has spread throughout the history of art until now. The study of the illustration of the farthest ages to date, especially the periods of the rise of Iranian-Islamic art, introduces us the psychological, cultural, religious, and social relations of those historical periods.
