Shahnameh is the greatest Iranian epic book. It is quite well known for Persian speakers and is one of the masterpieces written in this language. What makes Shahnameh distinct from other epic books of the world is Ferdowsi’s unique point of view to the social, cultural and philosophical issues. A rewriting from Shahnameh, the series includes 56 volumes and each volume recounts one of the many stories of Shahnameh, retold in an easy and fluent language for the today youth. The snakes’ only food is the brains of young people. Kaveh the blacksmith had eighteen children that sixteen of them have been killed to be fed to the snakes. When the soldiers come for his last two children, he grabs his hammer and goes to kill the snakes…
